In close collaboration with our partner Kokkersvold A/S in Norway, Seaport developed the port development plan for the Port of Kristiansand (Kristiansand Havn) and provided master plan alternatives for the expansion and the adjacent secondary zones.
The work also included CAPEX/OPEX modelling and advice on technology enabling the port to increase the volume. Seaport also provided 3D design and animation, and project visualisations.
Moreover, Seaport provided expert advice related to industry best practice for “one vs. two operators” in small ports, and how the “length of a concession/lease agreement” would impact on the operators’ risk profiles and investment capabilities.
