The Port Authority had decided to tender out one of GSL’s current stevedoring operations, where the terminal operations agreement was up for renewal.
Seaport assisted GSL with drafting a new business plan and bid document in accordance with the tender documents. The business plan included a phased development model of the container terminal facility including yard and gate designs/layouts, proposed modus operandi, equipment investments, enhanced TOS IT-systems, as well as volume projections.
